Thunderers of Zonot
Campaign in Brief (Za Warudo)
So this page is gonna be the shortcut info page. Will make more classy as I put more info in.
You are professional relic hunters based in the city of Magosi, the largest trade hub on the continent of Karoum, one of the main landmasses on the Material Plane of Ondu. Ondu’s in Halifax, which is in Canada, which is on Earth, which is in Canada, you get it.
You are members of a guild of fellow relic hunters, adventurers, and other people with more courage than cognition; the Thunderers of Zonot. Before you dismay at your balls-over-brains attitude, do keep in mind that Ondu is an EXTREMELY dangerous place, filled with the ruins of fallen civilizations which are themselves full of sealed evil in cans and forgotten superweapons. A risky attitude is not a flaw on Ondu, it is a necessary adaptation.
Here’s a short rundown on game specs, for those of you more literate in mechanics of Pathfinder:
3rd level start
Human, Halfling, Gnome, Dwarf, Elf, Orc, Goblin, Half-Orc, Half-Elf, Dhampir, Suli. SPEAK TO ME ABOUT YOUR RACE, FOR I HAVE RADICALLY CHANGED THE CULTURAL ASSUMPTIONS THAT THE RACES WORK ON!
Restricted Classes: Wizard, Monk (Civilized centers of learning can be counted on one hand, you’re gonna have to justify leaving); Paladin (heavy roleplaying requirement, possibly at odds with playstyle)
Banned Classes: Summoner (The initiative tables are already f’ed in the a), Gunslinger (no guns in setting)
While we’re not going for outright parody here, this game has quite a few newer players so the tone is going to stay intentionally lighthearted. We’re playing Pathfinder, not World of Darkness.
